July 2016

Despite the university holidays and being down to one car, our responders were active for 161 hours in July! Great work guys!

June 2016

The Dean of University of Nottingham Medical School, Professor Tony Avery, and the Dean of Medical Education, Professor Gill Doody, have very generously provided funding for one of our cars for a year! Absolutely massive thank you, this will have a huge impact on our scheme!

May 2016

Congratulations to our 16 newest responders for passing their FPOS Level 2 training and joining our team!

In May, we attended our greatest number of jobs ever: 136 patients inc. 7 cardiac arrests! Well done to all the team!

April 2016


Four responders and two level-3 cars were out in Nottingham city centre friday night.

March 2016

In March, our cars were active for 205hrs and our responders attended 102 emergencies including 21 patients with breathing difficulties.

December 2015

We did it! Starbucks have kindly donated £1000 after our #redcupcheer campaign. Thank you to all who tweeted and RT. New equipment here we come!

Yesterday, after a call for help from EMAS control, our volunteers showed amazing committment and provided 17 hours of last minute cover.

We have just been invited to present a poster at the RCGP Conference in Glasgow this October. Very excited to share our experience with GPs from across the country!

A multi-disciplinary pair of student responders attended a patient in Cardiac Arrest and successfully shocked the heart back to sinus rhythm.

In the last four weeks we have trained a staggering 24 new responders! We look forward to seeing them on the road.
